So long 2017 #4 : April

April started with Gregory Gaultier becoming the oldest World #1 ever, and he went on to claim the El Gouna International title, where Nour El Sherbini retained her women’s world title.

Karim Abdel Gawad returned to Houston where he added the Open title to his growing collection, while Nele Gilis and Declan James won in Dublin.

On the regional front, Jersey hosted the European Teams Div 3, while in Finland France and England retained their Div 1 titles, and in Chennai Max Lee and Joshna Chinappa were crowned Asian Champions.
